SourceForge Project Site Up!
Hello everyone,
i've set up the following project at SourceForge for our project files. It also has a Wiki that goes with the project, but i'm still setting up:
--------------------------------
Welcome to SourceForge.net!
The following project has been registered for hosting:
Descriptive Name: Age Of Greeks Development
Unix Name: ageofgreeksdevs
URL: https://sourceforge.net/projects/ageofgreeksdevs
--------------------------------
I will complete preparations and then contact all members. Every member should register a free account at SourceForge, so that I can invite them into the project.
Please don't show your Member name publicly! Contact me on this thread (or per PM) for problems or questions getting set up at Sourceforge, but be wary of security.
I will function as moderator for the SourceForge project site and content until someone else asks to take over.

Site is not public yet!
Hello all,
i'm still setting up the structure and permissions, the site will show the 404 error until then.
In the meantime, if you're a member here then create a SourceForge account so that I can invite you into the project later.

Alright, if we are not to show our Member name, but it forces us to have a name, do we use our real names. If so, then I shoudl be set up and waiting.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi, the SourceForge account creation lets you choose a public name as well as a (more secret) username. I'm checking how the invitations work exactly, but normally you can choose to join a project by clicking somewhere on the project page (once it's up publicly).
AFAIK, you don't need to use your real names to join projects.
I'll be checking that all applicants are also members of this forum for now.

SourceForge Project site coming up!
A SourceForge project site is already visible at:
http://theageofgreeks.sourceforge.net and the main page is at
https://sourceforge.net/projects/theageofgreeks/
It seems to be an older entry, so i'll continue setting up my new site for now. We should probably only use 1 site for the project under the name Age Of Greeks.
Not much content in yet, but we will be working on that. I'm still figuring out some stuff (permissions, members etc.), but generally we should be able to host our files etc soon.
Correct access is here:
http://ageofgreeksdevs.sourceforge.net/ , please mind the similarities to the above

Ah yes that was my pathetic ealier attempt. I could't get my head around it.
I suggest that everyone uses the same screen name as they do for these forums to make thing easier

Link to the Development Wiki at SourceForge
Hi all,
the development wiki is available at http://ageofgreeksdevs.wiki.sourceforge.net/.
Update: The Wiki at SourceForge is no longer available. Please use the Wiki publicized here at this forum instead.
I would like to start by adding some details to the software architecture into the development section in the near future.
All registered members will get full access to edit the wiki, so join the project at
http://ageofgreeksdevs.sourceforge.net/ after creating an account there.

Re: SourceForge Project Site Up!
I had an e-mail today saying that sourceforge is no longer going to be offering the wiki service and that all wikis will be removed. Dunno is you got this as well Hairein?
p.s it looks good anyway, thanks

Hmm, no, I hadn't heard that yet. If that happens, we can transfer the info to the main Wiki anyway. I'll check the forums there for details on that.
More important will be the SVN source archive, but the contents could be moved to another SVN repository quite easily if they discontinue that too.
Thanks for the heads-up.
Update: Yes, you're right. If it's OK with you, i'll edit the main Wiki and put in the structure to recreate the development pages there? I've joined the AgeOfGreeks Wikispace, so it shouldn't be a problem to continue working on that there.

Hello,
I didn't get your membership application at the Age Of Greeks Development SourceForge site. There was some problems with the site shortly after creation. Could you please try again now at ?
I'll also try to add you by sending an invitation to your username.

Yes, sorry, i meant I added Zeppo successfully.
He sent me his username and i just invited him in.
I've changed my email preferences to accept all mail now, but it seems there are some problems at the SourceForge site. I think it has to do with the removal of the Wikis etc. This may be causing disruptions at the site, as i'm often getting errors and delays.
Please try again in a few days when everything has settled at the site.
In the meantime, I would like to access the Wiki to put in some text if that's OK?
